Santa Clara
The City of Santa Clara is located in central northern Santa Clara County and is accessible by HWY 101, HWY 280 and HWY 880. It is east of Sunnyvale and Cupertino and surrounded by parts of San Jose on all other sides. The city was incorporated in 1852 and has a good location next to San Jose International Airport and job centers in the Valley. The housing prices are moderate compared with other areas in the county. The city has many amenities for the community including an open preserve, parks, community centers and an award-winning library. It is home to Santa Clara University which creates cultural and educational opportunities for the community as well as fostering a large student population in the area. Art is on display at several museums in the city. The Paramount Great America Theme Park and the 49ers training camp are other draws to the area. The population is over 100,000 and many different housing types are available to accommodate everyone’s needs. There is a low crime rate and the city is home to many businesses.
