Morgan Hill
The City of Morgan Hill is located in the southern part of Santa Clara County off HWY 101 south of San Jose and north of Gilroy and San Martin. Morgan Hill is surrounded by the Santa Cruz mountains to the west and the Diablo mountains to the east. It has a small town atmosphere with many parks and other open spaces. The city began growing in the 1950s as a residential area in place of agriculture when more affordable housing was needed for those working in the Valley. The population is over 33,000. A range of housing options are available in the area, from mobile homes to single family homes. The housing prices draw many Silicon Valley families here to a longer commute in return for more affordable housing. A new aquatics center is about to open and there are many other recreational facilities available.
